On Vineyard Drive, pronounced “Po-lil-low”, this is a family run winery that’s been in the area for years. They’ve got a super cool tasting patio and soon-to-open tasting room for your enjoyment. The wines are red…and earthy…and dirty…the GOOD kind of dirty…the people are great, and the scene is super cool. You’ll get the picture in the video, but just picture this anyway – you’re sitting on a big patio, shaded by huge umbrellas with a glass of rich, delicious wine, a couple of winery dogs napping nearby, a gentle breeze blowing to cool the warm sun, a view of the rolling vine and oak-covered hills, and the owner plucking his banjo and calmly singing folk songs. Not sure about you, but that’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon in MY book! Come on by and do a little tasting, let them tell you their story, it’s rich in history, family, and wine.
So their website, www.poalillovineyards.com, will be up and running in the very near future…as will their FaceBook Fan Page, so stay tuned. If you need to contact them right now because you NEED to get a hold of some of their wine, you can call Susan at 805-238-0621, or let us know and we’ll get you all hooked up! Cheers!!!
We rolled out in style with Captain Katie of Uncorked Wine Tours…check it out – www.uncorkedwinetours.net
