That’s right, we have our own little castle here in Paso Robles, Eagle Castle Winery. It’s definitely a stop to make just for the novelty of it. As you walk in there’s the moat and bridge. The really bright color of the water reminded us of rides at Disneyland. When you go inside they have numerous rooms for different uses and upstairs there are a couple of outdoor patios with amazing views.

They have several white wines along with numerous reds. We enjoyed tasting through the list with the owner, Gary, he made it very interesting. A couple of the reds stood out to us, the Royal Red and the Zin, but the nice thing about a list with that many wines is that most people will find at least one wine they like. Bottom line, it’s a unique stop in Paso Robles.
After tasting we wondered around and somehow, Hoot ended up with a knight’s helmet on, you can’t stop him, you can only hope to contain him.
