That’s right, they’ve got everything you might need: awesome wine, a beautiful scene, excellent customer service, a great story, and….drumroll please….FOOD! Cafe Cass is located in the tasting room!
We’ve been here a couple times before and seem to always stay a little longer than planned, but this time…stayed even longer. Although we knew of, and have very briefly chatted with co-owner Ted Plemons before, this time we went specifically to interview him and we quickly found out that this is Ted’s world and we all just inhabit it. We mean that in the absolute coolest way possible. Keep your eye out for Ted, if you’re lucky you’ll have a sighting!
He’s a personality you just won’t forget and he does an amazing job of making you feel like you are exactly where you should be. We tasted through the list out on their patio; gorgeous, and then did some barrel tasting with Ted and Lindsay. Lindsay is a friend that invited us out and gave us the best treatment ever! We also spent some time talking with Ted’s partner, Steve Cass. They’ve got a great group out there, and they get it, it’s all about the experience!
Hoot N Annie special warning: This is a tough winery to leave, be sure to allow for enough time!

This is absolutely one of my favorite wineries! Over the years Steve, Ted, Lisa, Bryan and Lindsay have become friends and have totally been there for me on various occasions. Love their wine, their food, their parties and their fun loving attitude, while being serious winemakers. Cheers to Cass!
