As you might have heard once or twice, we love the downtown area in Paso Robles! It’s got it all…beautiful scenery, cool vibes, great restaurants, and of course, incredible wine! Located just a block off the downtown park sits the Clayhouse Winery Tasting Room. Heard of Clayhouse? If not, you’ve been missing out! Pretty cool tasting room…it’s “green”!
They’ve got 3 different label series; the Estate, the Vineyard, and the Adobe Series, all of which offer the wine drinker a different option. You’ve got your Estate grown grapes, made into focused wines that showcase the vineyards, then you’ve got the single variety vineyard series, and finally, the Adobe Series which are fun and different blends.
We were in the tasting room this time because we took a guided tour. We’ve talked about it before…it’s called the Downtown Wine Walk and it’s put on by Wine Tours VIP out of Paso Robles! They did a great job showing us around downtown and giving us wine, olive oil, and cheese! Grab a group of friends and give it a try, it’s a good way to experience the downtown.
