Why does anybody do the things that they do? Well, hopefully it’s because it brings some sort of happiness or satisfaction. Unfortunately, sometimes people do things because they feel obligated or pressured. We all dream about a life that is full of fulfilling experiences and memories, and that’s what we’re trying to create.

We feel fortunate to live in an area that is literally spilling over with beautiful views, awesome wineries, incredible events, and supreme people! We can head out for a drive and within 5 minutes we’re in the middle of rolling vineyards in every direction. This is why we do this blog; we want to show people our backyard…bring attention to this area and all it has to offer, and share some of the rich history, as well as the new wine “blood” forging their way through the rough and tumble wine business.

We’re always looking for new ways to create our dream lifestyle and asking ourselves how we can alter and change things to get closer to the goals that we both dream about. We both love food, wine and travel, and the community and relationships that can be created around those experiences. We talk all the time about how to create a life that is centered around traveling and exploring different places, eating and drinking wine along the way.

This blog has been a vehicle that has helped bring some of those things closer to us. We get to share our adventures and experiences here, as well as participate in the community that has similar interests. Plus, you get to come along with us on our travels. It’s just us and whoever is out there watching. Our goal is to share our experiences, and in turn, hopefully inspire you to get out and explore the things that give you a sense of fulfillment.

So, tell us…what are you doing to get closer to your dreams and goals? What moves you? What makes you feel good at the end of the day? After all, this is your shot at life…make it count! Cheers!!!

It was definitely chilly last night, Gary! Glad the vines are okay…wouldn’t want to lose any of those precious wine providers!
