Two of our favorite things happened tonight…Vinoteca Wine Bar and, um, WINE!! This is something that, before moving, we would have hopped in the car and headed to the downtown, early, of course to look for a good parking spot. But, as you might have guessed, tonight we walked down! It took us all of 5 minutes to get to Vinoteca, which is the key point in our “life experiment” here on the West side of Paso Robles.
Vinoteca has a winemaker night every Wednesday night and this glorious evening it was Grey Wolf Cellars. As Annie points out in the video, we were looking forward to this tasting due to the fact that the last time (and only time) we were out at the tasting room it was a little bit tough. The wine glasses smelled as though they had not been rinsed enough so they had a soapy nose, and the tasting room itself had a smell of some sort, that we could not quite pinpoint.
All that being said, tasting through the three wines being poured at Vinoteca, we were thoroughly impressed. Even the Sauvignon Blanc was fantastic, not tasting like a “typical” Sauv Blanc. So a big high-5 to Grey Wolf for a fantastic tasting!!
In addition, a big kudos to another amazing winemaker night to Vinoteca…they always put on a great winemaker night and we honestly couldn’t even tell you how many of these we’ve been to….but it was amazing yet again!!

Hey Cindy, how cool that you’re familiar with Grey Wolf! From what we hear, they have a pretty good reputation! We plan to get better acquainted with them and Joe, the winemaker! Maybe we’ll see you out there soon…cheers!!!
