We have not been to Thomas Hill Organics since well before their expansion and new bar area. So what do you do after your first helicopter ride ever? Well, you go to Thomas Hill Organics (otherwise known as THO). As for the helicopter ride…stay tuned, blog post coming soon.
Back to the food, Hoot, back to the food.
THO is not new to us as we’ve been there several times and enjoyed great food. The new bar area, however, is quite new to us and if you know anything about Annie and I from these blog posts…you know we LOVE bars.
So where’d we sit? The new bar…aren’t you paying attention?
Check the photos below, the new bar is stylin’. I wish our kitchen/bar area was due for an upgrade because I would definitely steal some of these ideas. Really cool vibe and very comfy.
The food we ordered:
Yellowtail Tacos, Mojo de Ajo, Bautista Farms Early Tomato & Avocado Salsa, Verde Cabbage Salad, Crème Fraiche, Blue Corn Tortillas $15.00 (came with two tacos, we each had one)
PC Cattle Beef Burger, Nut Romesco, Cambozola Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Caramelized Onions $17.00 (big, we split it)
The food was outstanding. Not much more to say than that. I had a couple of Firestone Walker Pilsners with lunch and Annie had a Rose then the Chamisal Chardonnay.
The only other thing to add, which is often the most important thing, is that Tylen (that’s the name on the receipt, forgive me if I’m wonrg) did an awesome job taking care of us. Great customer service, attentive, and communicative.
So…when will you being going to THO? Let me know, I may stop in and let you buy me lunch.
