I know I’ve mentioned them on several occasions before but I love BarrelHouse Brewing here in Paso Robles. It’s one of those places that, to me, is a complete package. They are really cool people. The facility, including their beer garden, is awesome. And the beer is really good.
What more do you need?
Every time we go there it feels like you’re walking into a friend’s house. It’s comfortable, casual, and everybody knows your name (not everybody but I love that line from the Cheer’s song). As I mentioned above, their beer garden kicks ass and they keep adding to it.
There is a ton of seating, grassy areas, they encourage picnics but will have a food truck from time to time, an awesome water feature, and there is live music pretty often. It’s one of the coolest vibes to hang out at in the area…in my opinion. If you’re not a huge beer fan there are several wine tasting rooms well within walking distance and more coming soon.
