I will be honest, when I received this press release via email it took me by surprise. Somehow I missed how long Midnight Cellars has been around or I was possibly in a wine induced coma. Twenty years is a long time. Hell, I’m less than a year and a half from being two 20’s…that means 40, people!
Anyway, Annie and I wanted to wish Midnight Cellars (actually, the people behind Midnight Cellars) a very big congratulations and wish you many more years in the Paso Robles wine industry. Check the press release below for details.
MIDNIGHT CELLARS WINERY COMMEMORATES 20 YEARS IN PASO ROBLES WINE COUNTRY
20th Anniversary Celebration Planned for August 22
Paso Robles, CA (August 22, 2015) Midnight Cellars Winery is celebrating their 20th anniversary in Paso Robles. Established in 1995 by the Hartenberger Family, Midnight Cellars Winery has been a part of Paso Robles Wine Country’s stellar growth in popularity by producing award winning wines indicative of the region. On Saturday, August 22 Midnight Cellars Winery will hold an anniversary celebration to commemorate their 20 years in business.
This west-side estate winery produces award winning wines from the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. Twenty eight acres of hilly, rocky, limestone-rich and south facing slopes are dedicated to growing quality, low-yield, sustainably farmed Bordeaux grapes. The Hartenberger Family began their winery in May 1995 after a family vacation to northern California wine country.
“What started as a light hearted challenge to my dad to buy a winery after retirement, turned into Midnight Cellars being the twenty-ninth winery in Paso,” said Richard Hartenberger, Winemaker and Owner of Midnight Cellars Winery. “It has been an amazing journey for my family and this celebration is about great wine and this great community that we live in.”
The anniversary celebration will be held at the Tasting Room at 2925 Anderson Road, Paso Robles on Saturday, August 22, 2015 beginning at 12:30 p.m. For more information, please visit www.midnightcellars.com or call the tasting room at 805-239-8904.
