We met our friend Faith at The Hatch to catch up on life, work, and all that is Paso. While we were successful at catching up on those things the funniest thing that happened was two ladies from Los Angeles sat at the bar and convinced the bar to play Cards Against Humanity. Who travels with this game? Apparently these girls.
Aside from the debauchery that comes from playing Cards Against Humanity, we did have a meal, somewhere in there. Here’s what the three of us shared:
Chips (it’s not on their website but it’s on the early menu…didn’t take a photo so I don’t have the details)
Pickle Plate – Chef’s selection of housemade pickles $7.00
Pimento Cheese – Guanciale, chicken fat toast, house pickles $11.00
Grilled Asparagus – Grilled asparagus, brown butter, balsamic, sesame seeds, fried egg $9.00
Meatloaf – 64° egg, oven dried tomato $15.00
It was all good but I’m absolutely addicted to the pimento cheese and meatloaf. Take a look at the photos below. I did not take photos of the chips or pickle plate. Too busy I suppose. Thanks to Faith for meeting us, it was good catching up. And of course, lots of laughs due to Cards Against Humanity. I never thought I’d play that game at a bar but we weren’t kicked out so, we got that going for us.
