We recently met up with some friends at Estrella Warbirds Museum so we could show their exchange students the joint and also let Sammy (our almost 4-year old) see all the displays. Typically, we’ve gone for events so we’ve actually not been through the whole thing. There’s basically three areas: The Woodland Auto Display (classic cars, racecars, etc.), old airplanes and helicopters (and tanks), and the military section loaded with weapons, military vehicles, etc. There’s actually a fourth area by the entrance and gift shop as well. This area is military as well with period pieces, uniforms and so on.
There are a bunch of photos in the slideshow below. This is just some of what they have. It really is an impressive collection; Paso Robles is lucky to have it here.
