Here’s another winery out in the Cambria area that we recently visited on one of our many field trips to the coast to escape some of the heatwaves we’ve had in Paso Robles. Now, Stolo not only has a cool tasting room but they also have a beautiful outdoor area, some of which you can see in the photos below.
When we stopped in here we just decided to get a bottle of Rose (made from Pinot Noir) and have a glass outside. Sammy got to run around and we also met one of their goats. Pretty handsome fella. He came right up to us and we tried to find some scraps of hay to feed him.
We haven’t attended one yet but they apparently have quite a bit of live music out in their meadow. Be sure to stay up to date with that schedule here http://stolofamilyvineyards.com/calendar.html . There’s plenty of seating outside and a fair amount inside as well. Annie and I thought it would be a great place to take a picnic and invite some friends.
On their current menu they have Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, that Rose from Pinot Noir that we had, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and red blend. Be sure to check them out on your next visit to Cambria.

I just checked them out for the first time two weeks ago after a meeting in Cambria. I was really impressed with their Gewurz Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc and both of their Pinot Noirs. All very well made in a cool climate style. After that, I ventured further up Santa Rosa Creek Road to Linn’s Farm for a couple of pies to take home. All-in-all a great day! Cheers!
