At the end of the month, the Alliance will direct funds to the following charitable organizations working to provide relief to their stricken communities:
• Napa Valley Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund
• Community Foundation of Sonoma County’s Resilience Fund
• Community Foundation of Mendocino County
The PRWCA is also working with other California wine region associations to coordinate offers of goods, services, lodging, etc. specifically for the wine industry. This effort will be shared broadly by the North Coast vintner and winegrape grower associations in the stricken areas.

It’s horrific and heart breaking… it’s comforting to know how good people really are. God bless us all.

It really, really is heart breaking. We are beside ourselves. Now, to help them heal…

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing Matt.
My cousin and his family were evacuated yesterday late afternoon. I haven’t heard from them this morning.
Matt (aka Hoot) says
Glad they are okay, Kelly.

Annie:
Thanks for the info. I sent Christopher an email on how to get started on ordering wine. So many wineries helping out is so cool. I’ve always wanted to visit Nap/Sonoma and they will need tourist to come back which I told my husband lets go when they recommend a good time to return. I hear it will take up to 2 years from insurance companies to pay them to rebuild. That is a long time to wait they need all the help they can get, the world is in turmoil we have to ban together.
Matt (aka Hoot) says
Beverly, yes, it is horrible and it will take a long time to “get back to normal”.
