I must be honest, I don’t ever recall hearing about Blaze Pizza. When we recently heard about one coming into Paso Robles we, of course, had to go check it out because…pizza. Well, we actually wanted to check it out because so many people said it was the best. It’s all about fast fired, thin crust pizza at Blaze and it’s a machine that seemed to be well oiled from our perspective.
It’s a cool joint. It seems to have a younger vibe but we saw older people too…like us. Anyways, you can build your own pizza, Subway style, or order a pizza off the menu. Annie ordered a pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza for Sammy, a meat lover’s pizza for myself, and a caprese salad for her. It was all really good. I definitely see us going back. I noticed several people coming in and getting pizza to go which may be what we do.
They did have beer and wine along with all those other boring beverages like Coke. We stuck with what we know, beer and wine. The wine came in a unique format which I had not seen before. The lid was the cup. You can see it in the photos below.
The last thing I wanted to bring up was the staff. They all seemed pretty young but they were awesome. Customer service is clearly a priority in this business. There were two girls specifically that took great care of us, Natalie and Denise. Keep up the good work, Blaze Pizza.
