The 36th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival Grand Tasting Features
74 Wineries Pouring Their Best in the Downtown City Park
Paso Robles, CA (April 30, 2018) The 36th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festivalis less than one month away! This annual festival that celebrates the Paso Robles wine lifestyle is set for May 17 – 20, 2018. The festival began in 1983 with 17 wineries sharing their craft in the warmth of the beautiful Paso Robles Downtown City Park. This tradition continues among the trees on Saturday, May 19 with more than 70 wineries, two stages of music, wine-related crafts, and complimentary bites from 14 caterers, chefs, and artisanal purveyors.
The Paso Robles Wine Festival Grand Tasting begins at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 for the early entry ticket holder ($90) or 1 p.m. for the general admission ticket holder ($70) and concludes at 4 p.m. Guests wanting more Paso Wine can still purchase Combo Tickets ($145) which gives them the RESERVE event on Friday, May 18, as well as the Grand Tasting Early Entry on Saturday, May 19. Wineries at the Grand Tasting on Saturday, May 19 will be arranged by “regions” for a seamless, fun, and focused tasting experience: Bordeaux-style, Rhône-style, Zinfandel, Burgundian-style, Italian varieties and Other Wild Wines. Guests can visit their favorite Paso wineries and branch out to discover new ones with wineries grouped together in this manner. You never know what your next favorite Paso wine may be!
Back by popular demand, the Paso Robles Wine Festival brings 14 food purveyors to the park to offer complimentary bites that are sure to satisfy, refresh, and bring out the best in your wine tasting experience. Look out for: Blue Moon Southwest Grill, El Pollo Loco, Fromagerie Sophie, Heirloom Catering, Leo Leo Gelato, Next Door Bistro, Old San Luis BBQ, Olivas de Oro Olive Company, Peacock Cheese, Scotty’s BBQ Pit, SLO Yum Catering, Spring Seafood Bar and Grill, Thomas Hill Organics, and Twisted & Glazed.
The Paso Robles Wine Festival has a rooted tradition of bringing great music to the picnic environment around the Grand Tasting. Two bands will be grooving in the park on May 19, starting with The Money Band on the main stage, with some high energy top hits. On the Gazebo Stage, Guitar Circus will be rockin’ an all-request guitar show through texts from your phone. Bring a blanket or low back chair, find a shady spot below the trees, and enjoy the 36th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival with a glass and delicious bite in hand.
