I’ve heard people mention this spot a handful of times but it doesn’t seem to get much press. That said, it’s an awesome spot for breakfast or lunch, or in our case, Sunday morning brunch. They are located right near Hotel Cheval, where Vivant Cheese used to be. If you know the spot, you know it’s quaint and tucked away. Perfect for a quiet, leisurely meal and conversation.
Sammy ordered a mixed berry scone. $4.00
Annie had the bacon, spinach, and gruyere quiche (this was their organic quiche of the day). $12.00
I had the breakfast tacos. $13.00
The food was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever and that goes for the customer service as well. They were very kind and attentive.
I will offer you one warning…and they say it best. A quote direct from their menu. Be patient, it’s worth it.
“The local press coined our kitchen “tiny but mighty”. Though we are the smallest kitchen in downtown Paso Robles, we scratch make all of our food & source locally whenever possible. We thank you for your patience as we prepare every order as it is placed.”
Side note, Annie had a couple of mimosas and I had a couple Sangrias due to hearing about them and it was the bomb. We will absolutely be back.
Based on their Facebook page, they are closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They are open Thursday and Friday 8:30 am – 2:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.
