We recently went to SLO Brew the Rock for the first time and I have to say, we loved it. It’s a huge space located in an industrial area kind of close to the airport in San Luis Obispo. There’s a ton of outdoor and indoor seating and very family friendly along with a very chill vibe. If this place was in the Paso Robles area we would definitely be there more often.
The beers I had or tried were really good. These included the Pismo Pils (Pilsner), Pallerio (Pale Ale), Big Sur Veza (Mexican-Style Lager), and Reggae Red (Red Wheat Ale).
My little dude, Sammy, had the pepperoni pizza and pretty much annihilated the whole thing. Annie had the Brew Cobb, you can see a photo of that in the slideshow below, and I had the Brew Burger, see photo in slideshow. The food was awesome. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Executive Chef Tom Fundaro and Sous Chef Sean Ellison, both formerly of Villa Creek Restaurant in Paso Robles.
I don’t know, folks. There’s not a lot to say. We went here after one of Sammy’s flag football games at Cal Poly and thought it was a great hangout spot. Good for big or small groups, families and gatherings. Go check them out next time you’re in SLO. They are located at 855 Aerovista Place. Cheers!
