I thought this was pretty newsworthy as I went through my morning routine of searching through content online. Hearst Ranch Winery brought in a new winemaker as well as a consultant. That’s not necessarily the newsworthy part but what is, in my opinion, is who these folks are.
The new winemaker is Soren Christensen and the consulting winemaker is Guillaume Fabre of Clos Solene fame. Soren started his career with Hope Family Wines and most recently worked at Alta Colina Winery. You can read more about it here
