FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Paso Robles winery offers guests complimentary concerts and award winning wines
January 29th, 2016 (Paso Robles, California) — Pear Valley is the perfect venue to enjoy live music. This year the winery is offering complimentary live music 5:30 – 8 p.m. the first Friday of each month in addition to afternoon concerts, 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, during festival weekends.
On chilly or wet evenings, the concerts will be held in the winery’s indoor event room. The room has
plenty of table seating, a cozy fireplace and wonderful acoustics. When weather permits, the music will be enjoyed on the outdoor patio, surrounded by views of the estate vineyard. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy.
“We’ve been offering complimentary live music and growing our concert series over the past few years. People really seem to enjoy listening to the local artists perform while drinking wine with a picnic dinner. Our concerts are attended by club members, locals and a growing number of visitors from out of the area. Given the increased attendance and enthusiastic response, we decided to add additional concerts and have booked a year full of exciting artists”, stated Kathleen Maas, Pear Valley’s owner.

The winery offers wine for purchase, by the glass or bottle during concerts. All wines are produced from grapes grown on the winery’s sustainably-farmed, estate vineyards. With 24 different varietals grown, the tasting room offers a wide selection of stand alone varietals and blends, including refreshing whites, bold reds and a few sweet dessert wines.
The wines have won numerous awards. Recently, the judges at the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition awarded a “Best of Class” for the 2013 Zinfandel. The 2013 Charbono received a Gold Medal at the same competition, and the winery’s signature wine, a Bordeaux blend named Distraction, received a 90-point rating from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
As a family owned and operated winery, Pear Valley’s wines are priced for everyday enjoyment within a $15 – $35 range. When consumers purchase Pear Valley’s Rhône blend, known as “Inspiration”, a dollar for each bottle sold is donated to cancer research. The Maas family believes wine should be shared with friends and family and enjoyed daily.
