We recently stopped in to Tudor Wines in downtown Paso Robles. This was our second visit and just like the first one, it did not disappoint. On this visit, however, we were fortunate to have the man himself, Dan Tudor, in the tasting room pouring wine for us. We had some wonderful conversation with him and we appreciate his hospitality.
The tasting room itself is warm, welcoming, and a decent size for a downtown store front. You can see a few photos in the slideshow below.
So, what about the wine? Well, as a Pinot Noir freak, I absolutely loved it. We were able to try several Pinot Noirs and honestly, I enjoyed each of them for different reasons. I tend to lean toward Pinots that have that kind of grunge to them as well as the ones that are light and fruity…like me.
As you will see in the slideshow below, we also tried a Gewurztraminer and as something fun, we picked up a 4-pack (of CANS!) of off-dry Sparkling Riesling. All in all, please stop in. It’s one of the best in downtown Paso Robles. Let me know what you think when you try them out. Cheers!

One our favorites in Paso! Dan & Bow are such wonderful hosts when tasting. Bow’s Thai nuts are addictive ~ hope you had a chance to try them too.

Definitely very kind and gracious hosts! We have not tried the nuts yet, we’ll have to get back in there for those!
